At Lakshya School, Sankranthi celebrations are a time of joy and togetherness. Every year, the students come together to celebrate Pongal, harvest festivals dedicated to the Sun God that mark the winter solstice’s end. This year, the festivities started with kolams or rangolis being drawn outside every classroom entrance, which are believed to bring good luck and prosperity. Students gathered in traditional attire to perform a puja to thank the Sun God for the bountiful harvests. Students then participated in fun-filled activities such as kite flying to celebrate the joyous occasion further.
